The Data Protection Officer (DPO) in your school is responsible for advising headteachers, business and finance managers and other school leaders about their data obligations and current best practice. They monitor compliance, maintain cyber awareness and deal with breaches, advising on Subject Access Requests (SAR) and Freedom Of Information (FOI) requests.
