Supporting school leaders

DPO Services offers a range of consultancy options including specific support for school governors and leaders, data protection issues, safeguarding, quality improvement planning, and in school practices. We offer leadership coaching, providing a safe and confidential space for school leaders to access support. 

From time to time schools experience data protection issues requiring extra support. Our DPO team is available to provide this support, either in school or online. This may involve in depth trouble shooting, finding workable solutions to ease the stress of the situation. We can also review and update your school policies and procedures. Our trained coaches are a safe pair of hands for the issues school leaders face. We provide confidential, targeted coaching using an established format, tailored for each leader. Experiencing loneliness as a leader in is a key issue in schools and not having a safe person to confide in or bounce ideas off adds to this. We can be that safe person. 

We have a qualified school early years specialist available to provide specific support for your reception and early primary provision. As an early years specialist, she provides early years specific leadership coaching; support and guidance for practice improvement in class; targeted professional development; NQT support; and early years specific advice and guidance. 

Our early years specialists have extensive experience in supporting quality early years provision, from birth to school age. We understand the quality practice and legislative requirements for early years services, and how to apply these in practice. Please contact us to discuss how we can support you. We provide a free initial consultation to assess the needs of your early years team. 

We can provide advice and guidance on including your community in your school. Many SARs and FOIs stem from a lack of understanding of the schools role within their community and the data the schools holds about children and families. We can provide parent sessions and information for schools, translated if needed.
